Finding Wholeness Through Faith: Introducing Christian Integrative Therapy

As a holistic Christian Integrative Therapist at Through the Valley Therapy, my goal is to provide a safe, empathetic space where you can bring your full self - mind, body, and soul. I believe that lasting transformation occurs when we invite God into our healing journey, allowing His love and truth to guide the process. By integrating proven therapeutic methods with the timeless wisdom of Scripture, Christian Integrative Therapy offers a unique pathway to well-being.


Drawing upon empirically validated modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, and the MBTI Personality Assessment, I work collaboratively with clients to identify and address the root causes of distress. However, as a Christian Integrative Therapist, I also recognize the vital role of faith in fostering resilience, hope, and a sense of meaning that transcends circumstance. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." In Christian Integrative Therapy, you are not alone in your struggles - you are enveloped by the love of a God who intimately understands your pain.


Whether you are wrestling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, grief, or questions of identity and purpose, Christian Integrative Therapy provides a holistic framework for healing. Through prayerful exploration of your unique story, giftings, and God-given desires, you can begin to reframe challenges as opportunities for growth and align your life with His vision for wholeness. As Romans 12:2 exhorts, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."


In the safety of the therapeutic relationship, we will create space for both courageous self-confrontation and deepening self-compassion. Guided by the belief that you are infinitely precious in God's eyes, Christian Integrative Therapy invites you to extend that same grace and acceptance to yourself. By learning to navigate the full spectrum of human emotions while rooted in spiritual truth, you can experience a peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and a love that casts out fear (1 John 4:18).
